Simon Rofles, Bayer Leverkusen’s managing director, has stated that Nigerian striker Victor Boniface’s intended transfer to Al Nassr had fallen through.
Earlier this week, the Saudi club reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side to sign the Nigerian international.
On Wednesday, however, Al Nassr canceled the contract in favor of signing Aston Villa and Colombia attacker Jhon Duran.
Roffles stated:
“There have been talks, but we are pleased that he will be working with us today. I assume he’ll stay.”
“He feels comfortable here, his attitude towards the club is unchanged” .
